Sponsored by the Juniper Networks Academic Alliance, this free session will bring together faculty for 2 1/2 days of technical training and 1/2 day of certification testing to learn the Junos OS and become JNCIA-Junos Certified, an important step to including Juniper as an additional value for the students. Take the first step to enable your students by participating in this unprecedented opportunity!

At 1 pm on the 3rd day students will attempt the JNCIA-Junos certification, one of the fastest growing networking certifications in the industry.

Prerequisites

This course is for people who already understand networking concepts.

Agenda

Taking this course will help prepare you to deliver all or portions of this content to networking and computer science students with beginner/intermediate knowledge of networking. It is normally delivered in 16-24 hours of instructor-led training that combines content from our Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS) and Junos Routing Essentials (JRE) classes to provide students with an understanding of the Junos OS, networking fundamentals, and basic routing and switching. As part of this course, the faculty will attempt the JNCIA-Junos certification, one of the fastest growing networking certifications in the industry. The test is proctored online in class and should take about 90 minutes.
